Since graduating from the University of Cincinnati College of Law, I have been providing valuable legal services to Gallia County and the surrounding communities for over 20 years. My family-owned and operated law firm has been doing the same for over 100 years since its establishment by my great-grandfather Henry Cherrington in 1908. I am a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, Gallia County Bar Association and Gallia County Chamber of Commerce.
I personally meet with my clients, assess their legal issues, provide sound legal advice and give proper attention to their needs. For my clients, I strive to be accessible, responsive and handle legal matters in a timely manner.
I perform title searches and prepare legal documents including contracts, deeds, wills and powers of attorney and also perform property closings. As a licensed title insurance agent with my own company, Five Star Title Insurance Agency, Inc., I am able to issue title insurance policies for both owners and lenders.
In probate law, I engage in estate planning and the preparation of pertinent legal documents, such as wills, powers of attorney, durable powers of attorney for healthcare and living wills. I also represent executors of estates and counsel and advise clients through the estate administration process. In the event a guardianship is necessary, I represent guardians in the administration of guardianships.
I am actively engaged in my representation and provide sound legal advice to my clients, both legal and practical. My staff and I are experienced and we provide an honest evaluation, practical recommendations and ensure our clients’ best interests are served. I look forward to meeting with you.
